With discreet and playful aesthetics, Cecilie’s work demonstrates that functional details are able to create the aesthetic essence of an object in a subtle way. Early recognition of her contribution to Danish design began with the award-winning Micado side table designed for Fredericia in 2004, included in MOMA’s design collection, and later the Post Collection launched in 2019.
Considered one of Denmark’s most acclaimed designers and internationally renowned for her combination of Scandinavian lines and functionality together with contemporary style resulting in several iconic designs awarding her numerous significant prizes and accolades for her conceptual works.

Cecilie Manz was born in the Odsherred region of Denmark and, as the daughter of parents occupied with art and design she grew up respecting handicrafts.
After graduating from The Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts - The School of Design in 1997, including studies at the University of Art and Design in Helsinki, Cecilie Manz founded her studio in Copenhagen in 1998. Here, Cecilie Manz works with design of industrially manufactured products and experimental prototypes and sculptural one-offs.
Recipient of the Thorvald Bindesbøll Medal 2011 (Denmark), the Bruno Mathsson Prize 2009 (Sweden), the Finn Juhl Architectural Prize 2007 (Denmark), The Crown Prince Couples Cultural Award 2014 (Denmark), Designer of the Year 2018, Maison&Objet Paris, E. Kold Christensen’s Award of Honour, Chevalier des Arts et des Lettres 2019 (France), the lifelong Honourable Award from the Danish Art Foundation (Denmark), Honourable Award from the Danish National Banks Foundation 2021.

丹麦知名女设计师，父母都是陶瓷艺术家，毕业于丹麦皇家艺术学院设计学院，此后在芬兰赫尔辛基的艺术与设计大学继续深造，1998年，在根本哈根创立自己的独立工作室。在工作室里，她主要设计面向家庭的家具、玻璃饰品、灯具和其它相关产品，曾获多项国际大奖。

LUV 浴室系列 2017
手稿
一个全面的系列，包括洗脸盆、镜子和浴室家具。这三种大小的椭圆盆，都是由非常薄的DuraCeram瓷制成。在釉的选择上有缎纹、白色、灰色或砂色调，桌子台面则是用石英石或实木制成。
折纸袋 2017
亚麻帆布和皮带折叠式袋。
Aitio储物柜（2014）
各种尺寸的壁挂式或独立式搁板和储物盒。
